A great mural by hi-fi murals, just around the corner from our house, was defaced by a morally-defective moron with a giant anarchy “A”. Since then a massive QR code has been painted over the offending “A”. The code takes you to a photo of the mural in its original, undefaced condition. Thanks to PiecesDreamer for the photo and QR code exploration. Thanks to hi-fi murals (and other mural artists) for their great work around our city.

Leeside is a skate spot in a reclaimed tunnel under East Hastings Street near Empire Field. It is named for Lee Matasi, a key figure in Vancouver’s skate community who was murdered in 2005.
