Flickr considers this shot to be my most ‘interesting,’ meaning that more people have looked at, commented on and ‘favourited’ it more than any other. I shot it in the summer when I took Jeremy Tan to Guu for a unique Vancouver experience. It was a day of free Jazz Fest shows, walking the streets of Vancouver, and finding pubs with cheap pints.
Guu is still my chosen restaurant of this type. The food is great, and the atmosphere is boisterous, organic and fun to watch. There’s not a lot of pretense to the place either.
OK, this is interesting. I’ve posted 1203 photos on flickr, and there’s a function on the site that lets you see which photos have had the most ‘views’. The top few are not that suprising, but this one squeaked into #7 with 226 views. I have no idea how or why – I never submitted it to any groups, I just quietly posted it. There’s nothing wrong with it as a picture – in fact, I like how it turned out – but who is looking at it?
